Dino Crisis Wiki

Dino Crisis is a cancelled port of the original Dino Crisis for the GameBoy Color. Developed by the British company Fluid Studios, it was sometime in 2001.

In the late 1990s to early 2000s, Virgin Interactive held distribution rights for Capcom games throughout much of Europe. Starting around the Millennium, Virgin began seeking out third-party studios who could develop ports of Capcom's existing library.[1] M4 was initially contracted to work on a Dino Crisis port for the GameBoy Color, though this was cancelled in favour of the more ambitious Resident Evil Gaiden, and Fluid Studios awarded the contract instead. Fluid's design philosophy for this game was that it should be as visually close to the PlayStation game as possible, rather than being an original title.
