The key plates are key items in Dino Crisis 2, differentiated by colours intended for different uses.
Purpose[]
Key plates are first used by Dylan who activated an alarm when placing one in a security lock of the wrong colour, causing him to be trapped. Another was used by Regina to get him out.
Location[]
One Key Plate can be found in the Medical Room at the Military Facility, while the rest are found in its Control Room.[1]
