Welcome to the genocide island[note 1] is the opening cutscene to Dino Crisis.
Plot[]
A helicopter approaches the drop-off point over Ibis Island. Four agents from "SORT"—Regina, Rick, Gail, and Cooper—gear up before preparing to parachute down to the island. Before they jump, Rick points out that there is noticeable turbulence, but Gail indifferently tells the other agents that upon arriving on the island, all agents need to meet up at the designated rendezvous point. He starts a timer on his watch.
The four agents descend to the island via parachutes. Once they arrive, Gail and Regina are the first to reach the designated rendezvous point. Gail removes his mask and glances at the timer on his watch, revealing that 9 minutes have passed so far. Rick finally arrives and apologizes for being late, but Gail bluntly tells him that he made it in time and tells both to move out. Regina shares a look with Rick before removing her mask and asking about Cooper, but Gail dismissively tells the others to forget about Cooper since he failed to rendezvous in time. Rick tries to stop Gail as he walks off alone, but Gail ignores him and proceeds. Rick and Regina share a look before moving on.
Meanwhile, Cooper has found himself in the middle of a dense jungle after the heavy winds have drifted his parachute off-course. He pulls out his flashlight to get his bearings as distant thumping can be heard in the distance. Panicked, Cooper turns off his flashlight and suddenly breaks out into a run through the jungle as the thumping sounds intensify. The source of the sounds, a Tyrannosaurus, chases after Cooper, with the jungle barely impeding the dinosaur's speed. The Tyrannosaurus finally catches up to Cooper. As he turns and screams, the creature bites into Cooper and begins shaking his body around before devouring him and letting out a ferocious roar.

Helicopter pilot: Approaching drop zone.
Rick: Feels like we got a little turbulence.
Gail: Once we are in the ground, head straight to the designated convergence point.
Got it?
Rick: Sorry I'm late.
Gail: It's time... let's move out.
Regina: What about Cooper?
Gail: Forget him. Time's up.
Rick: Oh, hey! Wait!
Helicopter pilot︰じきに予定ポイントだ
Rick︰かなり気流が乱れてるな
Gail︰降下したらすぐ集合ポイントへ向かえ いいな
Rick︰悪い 遅くなった
Gail︰時間だ……行くぞ
